OUTAGE TYPE: Server Outage
AFFECTED: punggol.apc.sg
DATE: 20th March 2020 (Fri)
APPROX. TIME: 0900HR (+8GMT)
CAUSE: Plesk Service Failure
Currently we are facing issues on punggol.apc.sg (124.6.61.96) and is investigating. Initial checks indicates server is up and running but Plesk services are down. We are troubleshooting the issue urgently.
We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.

We have discovered that punggol.apc.sg is up and running but Plesk services are down. We are currently investigating on the down Plesk services.

We are carrying out solutions to restore the services on the affected server. We will provide an update within the next hour.

We discovered there is OS corruption. Due to the OS corruption, the server is doing a consistency check on the RAID. We are doing our best to finish the check to get the server back to usual.

We sincerely apologize that though our engineers have tried their best but due to this OS corruption causing inaccessiblility to everything on the server, there is no way we can access any data on the server, and therefore we will be proceeding to restore from the last backup we have on 15th Mar to avoid further downtime.

We are noticing the rest of the data restore is very slow and have reported this to our vendor Plesk. They have confirmed there is something not right and is taking over to resolve the remaining slow data restore. Do rest assured we are still getting all data restored as soon as we can.

We will like to update restoration is still underway for some remaining customers. You can login into your Plesk account to confirm if your account has been restored. We will provide an update as soon as we can.

We are pleased to inform we have identified the cause for the slow restore for the remaining accounts.

Despite having progress, Plesk restore process is still taking longer than expected although no issues are detected. We will provide an update when full restoration is completed by 1.00pm. If your service is still not restored and you do not have an existing ticket with us, please email us at support@apc.sg so that you can be notified directly from us.

Restore has been fully completed.
For restored customers who are using MSSQL connection string, please change to use .\MSSQLSERVER2017 instead of .\MSSQLSERVER2014. This is due to the change on the new Plesk server.
